Directed by superstar Prithviraj for the first time, Lucifer showcases a power struggle for the big chair. The movie deals with the premise in the aftermath of the death of a ruling party leader. The political drama has released in 78 screens across USA and Canada. Distributed by Zee Studios International, the film has hauled in over Rs 2.7 crore, establishing itself as the biggest opening for a Malayalam film in North America. Apart from extreme excitement, actor Mohanlal’s latest flick has managed to drum up colossal box office numbers overseas in the US and Canada as well.
